I've always loved animals, especially dogs, and especially puppies. With that said let me tell you about two little angels that I now live with. Bailey (white) and Gio (black) are new additions to the family on Woodland Street. My roommate rescued them from a drain pipe.
As I write this, said roommate is out of state and Bailey is making sure my leg is nice and clean a.k.a. she is licking it so I'll play with her. It's pretty cute, but what a difference dogs can make- especially two scared pit bulls. I think they already are used to me, which is nice. It helped that Barrett is out of town and they have to depend on me. So the trust issue is taken care of. The poop and pee smell is not over however and I can't pick the fleas off Bailey fast enough. Sorry Gio, I can't find fleas on you. I applied the flea killer stuff last night and it seems the fleas are going crazy over it, biting Bailey more as they die off (I guess). They know how to sit and "come" is taking some time still, and forget really walking them- they are scared to leave the house except with Barrett. You will look at the pictures and think I'm crazy for not going gah gah over them, but hang out in a warm house with two flea motels that get into trouble and bite stuff, and you may come over to my side.
I guess I have to keep reminding myself that they are babies. Scared pit bull babies. Advice on raising loving Pit Bulls would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Watch the video of Bailey sitting and...shaking? Then its Gio's turn and he runs away.

I like the dogs, even if your house has acquired an odor. They are cute, adorable even.
