Wow, what a movie. Wow, what a cast. Wow, what an absurd use of the word wow. Really though, I enjoyed it so much I told my buddy that if there was another showing right after I would have stayed and watched it again. Thankfully and unfortunately I saw the 10:05 showing. It was late, I love the beatles, I'm a sucker for a love story and my heart bleeds for people who get hurt because of hate/misunderstandings. All of that and the smooth voices, artistic use of color, details, visual affects cued to the beat of the music made me squirm in my seat with excitement. I'm getting the soundtrack from my buddy and I can't wait for it to arrive. Confession: I bought one song already off Itunes because I couldn't wait to hear it. I'm trying hard not to buy more.

Added bonus/nervousness I went to see the movie with my new friend Clint. It was hard to tell if he thought it was a date and whether or not he thought I thought it was a date. Number one I hate crap like that. Drama in general makes me crazy. So when he asked if something I said was a pick up line, I made it clear it was just a line. Movie was great, he was pleasant, and we parted ways easily with a hug (this is only a big deal if you know me and hugs...I'm trying Amber). So, all in all a great Thursday.
I'll catch you up on Friday-Sunday later. More to report.
